1. Clear Access: Ensure our pest control technicians have easy access to all areas that require treatment. Move furniture, clutter, and personal items away from walls and corners.
2. Seal Food Items: Store all food, pet food, and water bowls in sealed containers or remove them from the treated area. This helps prevent contamination.
3. Vacuum: Thoroughly vacuum floors, carpets, and upholstery before our visit. Dispose of the vacuum bag or empty the canister in an outdoor trash bin afterward.
4. Remove Bedding and Linens: If you're receiving pest control treatment in bedrooms, strip the beds of all bedding, linens, and pillowcases.
Kitchen and Food Preparation Areas:
1. Cover Dishes and Utensils: Cover or remove all dishes, utensils, and food preparation items from countertops and tables.
2. Clean Surfaces: Wipe down countertops, tables, and other surfaces where food is prepared or consumed.
Bathroom:
1. Clear Counters: Remove personal items from bathroom counters, including toothbrushes, soap, and toiletries.
2. Close Toilets: Keep toilet lids closed during the treatment.
Closets and Storage Areas:
1. Open Doors: If closets or storage areas are being treated, open the doors to ensure thorough treatment.
2. Floor Clearance: Clear the floor of any items that may obstruct treatment.
Children and Pets:
1. Secure Pets: If you have pets, keep them in a safe and secure area away from the treatment zones during and after the service.
2. Children and Toys: Keep children's toys, play areas, and cribs away from treatment zones.
Post-Treatment Ventilation:
1. Ventilate: After the treatment, open windows and doors to allow fresh air circulation. This helps dissipate any lingering odors.
2. Stay Away: Avoid re-entering treated areas until the specified time provided by our technician.
